      Issue: While the mainsheet doesn’t come under any stress once the mainsail is hoisted, it is dragged over the sharp edges of the V-cleet on every hoist and thus is subject to wear. The loop spliced in the end of the line is very basic and prone to damage.

      Soliution: If would be much better if the loop was spliced into the core and then whipping line used to protect it which could be replaced if worn.
